- Official ticket shop: tickets.hh.gr (Hellenic Heritage, Ministry of Culture / ODAP), live since spring 2026;
  hhticket.gr redirects there. Tickets are QR codes on your phone for an hourly slot, valid 15 minutes either side.
  Official tickets cannot be refunded or changed. Ticket offices at the main (west) and south-slope entrances.
- Daily cap of 20,000 visitors with hourly slots since September 2023.
- Since 1 April 2025: one full price all year (no winter rate), reduced ticket = half the full price (EU citizens 65+
  from October to May), the 7-site combined ticket abolished, non-EU visitors under 18 do not pay. EU citizens under 25
  do not pay.
- Days nobody pays to enter: 6 March, 18 April, 18 May, last weekend of September, 28 October, first and third Sundays
  from November to March (per hh.gr). No online booking on those days.
- Hours 2026: 1 Apr - 31 Aug 08:00-20:00; 1-15 Sep 08:00-19:30; 16-30 Sep 08:00-19:00; 1-15 Oct 08:00-18:30;
  16-31 Oct 08:00-18:00; 1 Nov - 31 Mar 08:00-17:00. Last entry 20 min before closing. Closed 1 Jan, 25 Mar, 1 May,
  Orthodox Easter Sunday, 25-26 Dec. Midday heatwave closures happened in 2024 and 2025.
- One ticket covers the whole hill incl. the Parthenon and the slopes. The Acropolis Museum and the Temple of
  Olympian Zeus are separate tickets.
- The scaffolding came off the Parthenon's west front on 15 June 2026.

## Corrections to claims found elsewhere

- hhticket.gr is no longer the official shop; since spring 2026 it is tickets.hh.gr.
- There is no winter price any more; the full ticket costs the same all year since April 2025.
- The 7-site combined ticket no longer exists; multi-site bundles on resale sites are reseller products.
- 'Skip-the-line' does not skip security or the time slot; it only skips the ticket-office queue.
- In winter nobody pays on the first AND third Sundays from November to March, not only the first.
- You cannot watch the summer sunset from the Parthenon: the site closes at 20:00 at the latest.
